Historian Sheikh Makram Al-Masri signed his new book, “Healthcare is a Humanitarian Mission – Health Institutions in the Unitarian Community,” at the Al-Erfan Secondary School hall in Sofar, at the invitation of the Cultural Committee of the Druze Unitarian Community Council and the Al-Erfan Unitarian Foundation. The event was attended by the Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community, Sheikh Sami Abi Al-Muna, represented by Dr. Zuhair Omar; member of the Democratic Gathering bloc MP Akram Chehayeb, represented by his son Wael Chehayeb; Secretary of the Democratic Gathering bloc MP Hadi Abu Al-Hassan, represented by Suleiman Abu Maghlieh; Chief of Staff of the Lebanese Army, Major General Hassan Aoude; Judge Daniel Saeed; Editor-in-Chief of Al-Doha Magazine, Dr. Mohammad Shaya; Head of the Cultural Committee, Sheikh Imad Faraj; Head of the Communication and Relations Committee at the Sectarian Council, Major General Shawqi Al-Masri; hospital directors, security leaders, heads of associations, legal professionals, and a crowd of family and friends.

Following an introduction by Sheikh Kamal Abi Al-Muna, a speech was delivered by the Head of the Cultural Committee and Director of Al-Erfan Secondary School in Sofar, Sheikh Imad Faraj. This was followed by interventions regarding the book by doctor and historian Ghazi Zahreddine, Secretary General of Public Relations and advisor to the head of the Al-Erfan Foundation Dr. Rami Ezzedine, President of the Book Club Engineer Mazen Abed, and the author, Al-Masri.
