The “New Heart – New Hope” initiative intends to hold its first annual meeting in As-Suwayda Governorate next July, with the participation of children who were treated over the past three years.
The initiative’s first meeting comes after the success of more than 75 free surgical operations for children from Syria in France and Switzerland.
It is noteworthy that the New Heart, New Hope initiative was founded by Dr. Issam Qamash, a specialist and consultant in pediatric cardiology in France, and it has been providing free heart treatments and surgeries for Syrian children suffering from heart diseases.
