The Advisor to the Sheikh al-Aql for Religious Culture, Sheikh Wissam Sleika 1. writes:

What is the obstacle that prevents some from being a true human being who accepts others, coexists with them, believes in equality among people, and respects the rights, beliefs, and humanity of others?

Are these barriers cultural

or intellectual

or doctrinal?

In any case, we must not forget, above all else, the human image, based on the principle that people are of two types: either a brother to us in religion, or a peer to us in creation; so let us offer them our forgiveness and our love.

As long as a human being exists on Earth, they are in dire need of their fellow human; for an eagle has never flown with one wing, and no right hand has ever clapped without the left.

Do good as long as the dawn breaks

And you live in the grace of life, night and day

Treat people according to your own character, regardless of their actions

The image is your image, the words are your words, the actions are your actions, and life is a gift, a blessing, and a test

And people choose between good and evil

True elevation in the stages of life towards true happiness can only stem from within the souls before the texts

For whoever wishes to illuminate must first be enlightened

And the light of humanity shines through treatment

For religion is treatment

And humanity is treatment

The treatment of a human being towards their fellow human

If we call out to life with one collective voice

All the voices of life will answer us

And the earth will be our earth, and the sky our sky

How we are in need of the kind word to call out with

To our children and our brothers

How we are in need of the kind word to grant us strength, steadfastness, and cohesion

We must not collapse, nor get lost, nor let our steps scatter in these shifting sands towards tribulation

Rather, we must absorb all of that with the wisdom of the mind and insight

In a time whose title is bleeding wounds

They must be dressed with the kind word

For our task in this life is to eliminate the disease, not the patient.
