His Eminence the Sheikh Al-Aql of the Druze Monotheist community, Sheikh Dr. Sami Abi Al-Muna, expressed his condemnation of the attack on the US Embassy in Lebanon, denouncing anything that harms stability, civil peace, and public security, as well as the targeting of embassies and diplomatic centers. He praised the role of the security services and the army in identifying the perpetrators and taking necessary legal action against them to prevent strife, in light of the challenges and risks Lebanon is facing, which must be confronted with internal solidarity.
Balamand
His Eminence the Sheikh Al-Aql participated in the Balamand University celebration – Souk El Gharb branch, on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the branch's founding, at the university campus in Souk El Gharb. He headed a delegation of sheikhs, members of the Sectarian Council, and officials from the Sheikhdom of Al-Aql and the Sectarian Council, alongside the Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, John X Yazigi, Mr. Walid Jumblatt, Head of the Progressive Socialist Party MP Taymour Jumblatt, Mses. Nora and Diana Jumblatt, and several ministerial, parliamentary, spiritual, political, social, and cultural figures.
His Eminence the Sheikh Al-Aql congratulated Patriarch Yazigi on the occasion and the anniversary, noting the academic, cultural, and educational role the branch plays in the Mountain and the region. He emphasized the importance of support and care at all levels, which complements the efforts made by Mr. Walid Jumblatt in this regard, to promote culture, science, and education to create a nationally fortified society and build the future of the generations.
Meetings
His Eminence the Sheikh Al-Aql received at the Sectarian House in Beirut a delegation from the Marine Unit of the Customs Authority, holding the ranks of First Warrant Officer and Warrant Officer, to request support for their movement and assistance in achieving job equity by raising the retirement age to 57, similar to their colleagues in the administrative and technical departments.
He also received a delegation from the "Civil Society" including businessmen, intellectuals, doctors, and lawyers, headed by Dr. Bassem Jaafar. On behalf of the delegation, Jaafar presented the objectives of the visit and the idea of holding a spiritual summit or issuing a comprehensive spiritual statement urging the necessary dialogue and meeting under the roof of Parliament to elect a President of the Republic, stating that "it has become unacceptable for the vacancy in the top position to remain while waiting for external consensus on this matter."

Jaafar said: "We thank all initiatives, including the Quintet, for bringing the viewpoints of the Lebanese parties closer, but when will the solution to various issues be Lebanese? The only solution and path forward in this entitlement will be through dialogue and the consensus of the Lebanese people, and by abandoning selfishness and sectarianism."
The delegation presented His Eminence with a shield in appreciation of his spiritual and national unifying stances.
His Eminence Sheikh Abi Al-Muna also received author Dr. Hassan Al-Buaini, accompanied by engineer Sheikh Mohammed Aref Abu Zaki.
He also met with the Head of the Supreme Druze Court of Appeal, Judge Faisal Nasser Al-Din, and lawyer Bassam Al-Halabi.
He also met with the Endowments Committee of the Sectarian Council, headed by lawyer Hamada Hamada.
Condolences
His Eminence the Sheikh Al-Aql, leading a delegation, offered condolences at the Sectarian House for the late educator Abu Amin Nadim Amin Makarem.
Workshop
On another note, and under the direction of His Eminence the Sheikh Al-Aql, the Administrative Committee of the Sectarian Council concluded the "Protocol and Etiquette Course" for employees of the Sheikhdom of Al-Aql and the Sectarian Council, led by trainer Mr. Samir Hatoum, which took place over five days at the Sectarian House in Beirut.
