A call took place between the Sheikh Al-Aql of the Unitarian Druze community, Sheikh Dr. Sami Abi Al-Muna, and Prime Minister Najib Mikati, and a similar call with the Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Bassam Mawlawi.
Sheikh Abi Al-Muna received a call on the occasion of the beginning of the ten days of Eid al-Adha from the Sheikh Al-Aql in Syria, Sheikh Hikmat Al-Hajri.
In another context, the Sheikh Al-Aql congratulated the Internal Security Forces on their one hundred and sixty-third anniversary, addressing their Director General, officers, and personnel.
In a statement, Abi Al-Muna appreciated the immense sacrifices they make in defense of the law and public order, and in providing protection against crimes, thefts, and various forms of terrorism and drugs.
On the other hand, Sheikh Abi Al-Muna received a group of sheikhs at his residence in Shanay on the occasion of the "ten days" of the blessed Eid al-Adha, foremost among them the venerable sheikhs: Abu Zein Al-Din Hassan Ghannam, Abu Fayez Amin Makarem, Abu Faris Marwan Fayyad, and Majid Abu Saad, who was hosted by the Shanay Council in a religious guidance meeting.
His Eminence also received a delegation of sheikhs from the town of Kafrselwan and another of sheikhs from the Faraj family in Abadiyeh.
