His Eminence Sheikh Al-Aql of the Unitarian Druze Community in Lebanon, Sheikh Dr. Sami Abi Al-Muna, met at the Community House in Beirut with MPs Mark Daou and Firas Hamdan, who discussed internal and general national issues with His Eminence, in the presence of Judge Sheikh Ghandi Makarem and member of the Druze Council board, Mr. Naji Saab.
He also met with former Minister Naji Boustani, who briefed him on issues related to the Mountain region and Islamic-Christian relations.
He also met with former Minister Ibrahim Shamseddine, where they discussed general issues, especially those related to strengthening dialogue and ways of communication between Lebanese components.
Among those visiting His Eminence Sheikh Al-Aql was Prince Malik Arslan, to thank him on behalf of the family for his condolences on the passing of the late Mona Fayez Makarem Arslan, wife of Prince Farouk Arslan, in the presence of Judge Makarem and the Secretary of the Druze Council, lawyer Nizar Al-Barad'i.
He also received a delegation from the administration of the "Maaniyeh School" headed by Khaldoun Farhat, which included: Dr. Leila Abu Shaqra, Walid Ghannam, and Jamil Arnous, as well as the consultant for human and intellectual development and self-improvement, Dr. Adel Nasr, who presented him with his book "Raising Children - Shaping Jewels," accompanied by Sheikh Nizar Abu Ali. He also received Mr. Fouad Al-Gharib and Mr. Khaled Abdul Samad, followed by lawyer Afif Amer, and then lawyer Mazen Al-Masri.
His Eminence Sheikh Al-Aql made a congratulatory call to Bishop Michel Jalakh on the occasion of his episcopal ordination as Titular Archbishop of Nisibis of the Maronites.
He also made a phone call to the Sheikh Al-Aql in Syria, Sheikh Yusuf Jarboua, offering his condolences on the passing of his father, the venerable Sheikh Hassan Jarboua. His Eminence had sent a telegram of condolences, which stated:
"Those whom the angels take in a good state, saying: Peace be upon you; enter the Garden for what you used to do."

We extend to your Eminence our heartfelt condolences on the passing of your virtuous and venerable father, the late Sheikh Abu Yusuf Hassan Jarboua, asking for his pure soul mercy and a dwelling in the Unitarian Paradise, and for you, may you live long and remain safe. The history of your noble family bears witness to the masters and prominent sheikhs it has produced and the honorable positions and contributions it has offered, which strengthens our hope for the possibility of meeting with you and your trusted brothers, the sheikhs, on a unifying Unitarian role that embraces the members of the community and strengthens their resolve on a common word and a unified position, so that the banner of truth may remain high and the Mountain of the Arabs and patriotism remain towering as we have known it, through the arms of its brave heroes and the wisdom of its wise Unitarians, such as your late virtuous father, may God have mercy on him. May God increase your reward, and indeed we belong to God and to Him we shall return.
Likewise, His Eminence Sheikh Abi Al-Muna called Brigadier General Bassem Al-Ahmadiyya to offer condolences on the passing of his mother.
