Thousands of mourners participated on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, in the funeral ceremony for Sheikh Abu Yousef Hassan Jarboua, father of His Eminence Sheikh al-Aql Abu Osama Yousef Jarboua, at the Samara Square grounds in the center of As-Suwayda.
Local media reported that Muslim and Christian clerics participated in the funeral, in addition to tribal sheikhs and government and official delegations from Syria and Lebanon, and many condolences telegrams arrived from various authorities in the Levant countries.
The funeral ceremony witnessed a large popular and religious presence from various areas of As-Suwayda and Rif Dimashq, most notably the Sheikhs al-Aql of the Druze community in Syria.
