The Lebanese Canadian University announced the provision of 3 university scholarships for the upcoming academic year.

A letter addressed by university president Rony Abi Nakhle to the head of the Municipality of Aley, Wajdi Mourad, stated: “Believing in the role of municipalities in improving and elevating social services and caring for and supporting the residents of their area, and in reference to the ongoing cooperation between you and the Lebanese Canadian University – Lebanese Canadian University LCU, especially regarding helping the students of your town overcome academic and financial difficulties and obstacles, our university is honored to offer the esteemed residents of your town three (3) university scholarships, each valued at 60% off credit fees across any of the specializations offered by the university, for the 2024–2025 academic year.”

It is worth noting that the Lebanese Canadian University (LCU) is a private Lebanese university founded in 1994, located in the town of Aintoura. It follows an annual curriculum with mandatory attendance, utilizing Arabic and English as languages of instruction.
