The Sheikh Akl of the Unitarian Druze Community, Sheikh Dr. Sami Abi Al-Muna, met a series of well-wishers and visitors at his residence in Chanieh during the blessed Eid al-Adha. He also received numerous calls and telegrams of congratulations, most notably from Prime Minister Najib Mikati, former Presidents Michel Suleiman and Tammam Salam, Patriarch John X Yazigi, Minister of Interior Bassam Mawlawi, and Minister of Culture Judge Mohammad Wissam Al-Murtada, who visited him in Chanieh to offer congratulations, the head of the Lebanese Forces party Dr. Samir Geagea, the MPs: Marwan Hamadeh, Dr. Farid Al-Bustani, Fouad Makhzoumi, Faisal Karami, Dr. Bilal Abdallah, and former MPs and ministers: Anwar Al-Khalil, Fadi Al-Habr, Youssef Salameh, Issam Naaman, Mohammad Al-Hajjar, Adel Hamieh, and Sheikh Wadih El-Khazen.
He also received messages from the embassies of the United States, Algeria, and the Sovereign Order of Malta, and Ambassador Tawfiq Jaber. In addition to the Acting Director General of General Security, Major General Elias Baissari, Secretary General of the Council of Ministers Mahmoud Makkieh, Acting Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon Wassim Mansouri, and he was visited by the Chief of Staff, Major General Hassan Aoude, heading a delegation of command officers.
