Jordanian King Abdullah II received leader Walid Jumblatt at Al-Husseiniya Palace, accompanied by the head of the Progressive Socialist Party, MP Taymour Jumblatt, and MP Wael Abou Faour.
The meeting addressed developments in the region, and the Jordanian King emphasized the necessity of reaching an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza and the importance of continuing the delivery of humanitarian aid to all areas of the Strip to stop the worsening humanitarian catastrophe.
King Abdullah warned of the danger of an expansion of the conflict in the region, stressing the importance of Lebanon's stability and the sustainability of its security.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi.
