His Eminence Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian community, Sheikh Dr. Sami Abi Al-Muna, stated that Lebanon's economic and social reality requires a bold rescue plan capable of rebuilding what has been demolished over the past years, regardless of the security challenges facing the country due to continuous Israeli threats, which have not hesitated to expand the circle of their war danger to Lebanon, Palestine, and the entire region, in order to gradually emerge from the complex economic tunnel, exploit the nation's comparative advantages, and spread a spirit of optimism and action to restore lost confidence.
In this context, His Eminence Sheikh Abi Al-Muna noted to his visitors at the Community House in Beirut the initiative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to allocate a package of development projects for Lebanon, and the signing of a joint cooperation memorandum between the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center and the Higher Relief Committee in this regard. He praised the positive role played by Prime Minister Najib Mikati, the friendly Ambassador Walid Bukhari, and brotherly countries, with the aim of putting Lebanon back on the path to economic recovery.
His Eminence Sheikh Akl met with the Mufti of Zahle and Bekaa, Dr. Sheikh Ali Al-Ghazzawi, accompanied by the Director of Islamic Endowments in the Bekaa, Sheikh Assem Al-Jarrah, in the presence of Democratic Gathering MP Wael Abu Faour. The meeting addressed several general issues, the situation in the Bekaa region, and cooperation between the Sheikh Akl office and Dar Al-Fatwa in facing social and economic challenges.
Following the meeting, Mufti Al-Ghazzawi stated: "Through our visit to His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Sami Abi Al-Muna in this honorable place, we wanted to be together in our institutions and in our Bekaa region, which we want to reassure and be reassured about our people, through this institutional meeting and the constant connection and coordination between His Eminence and the Grand Mufti of the Lebanese Republic, confident in the good and intimate relationship between them. We came to confirm that the people of the Bekaa and the Bekaa region are one, and at the same time, since Lebanon is experiencing these political and economic concerns, there is no doubt that this connection and meeting reassure society, so that we and security may be one, just as Islam, which brings us together, must be made a permanent meeting point."
He added: "Things in the Bekaa are fine, as are our people. As the late Mufti Khalil Al-Mays said, religions were meant for us to go through them to God, not to move away from each other; therefore, we confirmed our approach toward one another, to be at the service of our people and society and a part of building our nation."
His Eminence Sheikh Abi Al-Muna also received the head of the Lebanese Movement Party, Lawyer Pierre Nabil Mchantaf, accompanied by Mr. Paul Mathkour, and discussed with His Eminence the latest developments and the importance of strengthening the Christian-Druze partnership in the Mountain.
Among the visitors to the Community House was the official of scholarships and international agreements at the Ministry of Education, Walid Zein El Din, who presented His Eminence with his new book, "Academic Imprint in the Realms of Higher Education - University Scholarships and International Agreements," in the presence of the sectarian council member Akram Arabi. Mr. Roger Al-Rahi visited to discuss supporting the National Academic Humanitarian Authority for Dialogue and Meeting. The head of the "Cave of Arts Association," artist Gandhi Bou Diab, visited to brief him on the status of the Cave of Arts Museum in Jahiliyeh and its development stages.

His Eminence Sheikh Akl offered condolences for the late Mrs. Huda Najib Al-Hassanieh, widow of the late Raef Qassem Dhibian, at the Community House at the head of a delegation of sheikhs and members of the sectarian council, and for the late Mr. Abu Rami Hisham Sami Al-Halabi in Bchamoun, accompanied by the head of the Cultural Committee in the sectarian council, Sheikh Imad Faraj.

On another note, His Eminence Sheikh Akl participated in a religious evening at "Khalwat Jarnaya" in the town of Kfarhim, Chouf, hosted by the venerable Sheikh Abu Zein El Din Hassan Ghannam, alongside the participation of the venerable Sheikhs Abu Ali Suleiman Bou Diab and Abu Fayez Amin Makarem and a group of the region's sheikhs.
