On the morning of Saturday, July 13, 2024, hundreds of Druze sheikhs from the Galilee, Carmel, and Golan regions gathered in the village of Daliyat al-Karmel to commemorate the annual official pilgrimage to the shrine of Sayyidna Abu Ibrahim, peace be upon him.
Sheikh Mowafaq Tarif, the spiritual leader of the Druze community, congratulated the gathered visitors, thanking the people of Daliyat al-Karmel for their warm reception.
The visit was characterized by a distinct spiritual and monotheistic atmosphere, marked by the presence of His Eminence Sheikh Abu Yusuf Saleh Qadmani, Sheikh Abu Ahmed Taher Abu Saleh, Sheikh Abu Hussein Hayel Halabi, keepers of the prayer houses (Khulwat), religious judges, and imams, who were welcomed with great hospitality by the sheikhs of Daliyat al-Karmel, led by His Eminence Sheikh Abu Ali Hussein Halabi.
Tarif reiterated his profound thanks to the people of Daliyat al-Karmel for their gracious hospitality, commending the role of the custodian, Sheikh Abu Munir Qasim Nasr al-Din, who has served the shrine for years with dedication and sincerity.
