A youth group from the “Spiritual Forum” organized by the Religious Committee of the American Druze Society (ADS) in Ras El-Matn visited His Eminence the Sheikh Akl of the Unitarian Druze Community, Sheikh Dr. Sami Abi Al-Muna, at his residence in Shanay. The delegation included the Sheikhdom's delegates: committee head Sheikh Wajih Subeh, Sheikh Walid Farhat, and Mrs. Nada Farhat, in the presence of Confessional Council member Sheikh Fadi Al-Attar. They listened to a talk by His Eminence on spiritual and national identity and his guidance on clinging to one's roots and avoiding spiritual alienation. The group had continued its activities over three days, visiting Sheikh Abu Fares Marwan Fayyad at the Bdeghan Khalwa, who welcomed and guided them along with Sheikh Salman Shayya, and subsequently visited the shrine of the late Sheikh Abu Hassan Aref Halawi in Barouk, where they met Sheikh Majed Abu Saad in the presence of Sheikh Abu Naeem Mohammad Halawi and a gathering of sheikhs.
