On Saturday morning, July 27, 2024, hundreds of Sheikhs of the Druze community from the Galilee, Carmel, and Golan arrived in Beit Jann in the Upper Galilee to mark the official annual visitation to the Maqam of Sayyidna Baha' al-Din, peace be upon him.
At the beginning of his speech and before the religious ceremonies, His Eminence Sheikh Muafaq Tarif, the Spiritual Leader of the Druze community, congratulated the gathering of visitors, thanking the people of Beit Jann for their kindness and warm hospitality.
Sheikh Abu Hani Saleh Qabalan, on behalf of the Religious Council in Beit Jann, welcomed the attendees, followed by Sheikh Abu Ali Amin Shaheen, representing the administration of the Waqf committee of the Maqam of Sayyidna Baha' al-Din (PBUH). Additionally, a welcoming speech was delivered by the head of the local council of Beit Jann, Mr. Nazih Dabour.
The visitation was characterized by a special spiritual and Tawhid-focused atmosphere, with the presence of Khalwa leaders, judges of the Druze religious courts, Imams, and a large gathering of Sheikhs from all Druze villages.
At the conclusion of the visit, His Eminence reiterated his deep thanks and appreciation to all the people of the prosperous village of Beit Jann, who opened their homes and hearts to the delegations of visitors.
