On the occasion of the 40th day since his passing, the family and friends of the late Issam Al-Sabbagh commemorated him by inviting children from the Druze Orphanage in Aabey to visit the town of Baakline, with the participation of municipal and party officials.
The event began with a tour for the children and attendees of the plant nursery belonging to the late's brother, Mr. Talie Al-Sabbagh, followed by a village-style breakfast and the distribution of flower seedlings and gifts to the children, after which everyone moved to the Baakline National Library, where they were received by its director, Ghazi Saab, who introduced the children to the various sections of the library, explaining to them the importance of this civil, cultural, and literary landmark in the Chouf region.
