The former President of the Progressive Socialist Party Walid Jumblatt, the President of the Progressive Socialist Party MP Taymour Jumblatt, and the Sheikh Akl of the Unitarian Druze community Sheikh Sami Abul Mona offered their condolences on the martyrdom of the head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" Ismail Haniyeh, leading a delegation at the Mohammad Al-Amin Mosque in central Beirut.

The delegation included MPs Bilal Abdallah, Hadi Abul Hassan, Wael Abu Faour, and Faisal Al-Sayegh; former ministers Ghazi Aridi and Alaaeddine Terro; leader Tawfiq Sultan; the Secretary-General of the Progressive Socialist Party Zafer Nasser; a delegation from the Progressive Scout Association and General Commander Zaher Al-Andari; a delegation from the Progressive Youth Organization and the organization's Secretary-General Ajaj Abi Rafeh; the President of the Druze Religious Court of Appeal Judge Faisal Nasser Al-Din; the Director of the Sheikhdom of Akl Rayyan Hassan; the Director-General of the Druze Religious Council Mazen Fayyad and members of the Religious Council; and a number of Sheikhs.

After offering condolences, Jumblatt said: "The path to Palestine was drawn by the martyr Kamal Jumblatt, and we are continuing on this path."
