His Eminence the Sheikh Akl of the Unitarian Druze Community, Sheikh Dr. Sami Abi Al-Muna, received at the community headquarters in Beirut a delegation from the “Lebanese and Diaspora Cultural Council,” including its president, media personality Fadi Riad Saad, and legal advisor, lawyer Samir Karameh. He received from Saad a miniature copy of the book “The Largest Book in the World – Pioneers from the Land of Cedars,” who also briefed him on the projects the Council has begun preparing to implement at the Lebanese and Arab levels.
He also received a delegation of ladies from the “Mountain Women's Associations Gathering,” headed by Mrs. Farida Al-Rayyes. The meeting addressed issues related to the Gathering’s interests.
His Eminence Sheikh Abi Al-Muna also received the following: the President of the “Lebanese Association for Environment and Health” in Zahle, Dr. Fouad Khoury; the President of the “Lebanese-Palestinian Youth Gathering,” Ahmed Abdullah Al-Shawish; Sheikh Dr. Rima Abdul Khaleq Abu Dargham; and businessmen Mr. Amer Dubian and Mr. Samih Dagher.

Furthermore, His Eminence the Sheikh Akl received civil delegations at his residence in Shanay, including: a delegation from Qabie to follow up on the incident that occurred with some of its residents in Hammana; from the Al-Saeed family, accompanied by the elected member of the Confessional Council, lawyer Salim Saeed; from the Al-Ahmadiya family, accompanied by the elected member, lawyer Maher Al-Ahmadiya; and from the Shia family, accompanied by the elected member, engineer Jihad Shia.
He also received the representatives of the Sheikhdom of Akl: Sheikh Nassib Qanso from Kuwait, and Sheikh Mounir Al-Hakim from Sydney, Australia, accompanied by Sheikh Baz Abdul Samad, in the presence of his advisor for representative affairs, Sheikh Mounir Gharz Al-Din.
His Eminence the Sheikh Akl offered condolences at the community headquarters in Beirut for the late writer Dr. Nour Salman, and in the towns of Deir Kousheh for Sheikh Abu Zaher Nassib Dagher, in Ghraifeh for Sheikha Um Midhat Salma Al-Saifi Harb, and in Bater for the young woman Dima Kamil Safi.
