The "Tales of Our Grandparents" program is a space dedicated to reviving and documenting the ancient history of the Bani Ma'rouf (the Unitarian Druze), navigating the depths of the past to recount the heroism of ancestors, their deep-rooted values, and their authentic way of life. The program is distinguished by its warm narrative style, as it relies entirely on the voice of a Sheikh who carries the trust of history both orally and behaviorally, transmitting it truthfully and spontaneously to the younger generations.

Vision and Goal of the Program

The program seeks to bridge the gap between the past and the present through:

Preserving Collective Memory: Protecting oral historical narratives from being lost or distorted and documenting them in an engaging way.

Consolidating Ma'roufi Values: Highlighting the virtues of the Unitarians, such as brotherly care, honesty, trustworthiness, generosity, and defending one's land and honor.

Connecting Youth to Their Roots: Presenting rich historical material that makes new generations proud of their identity and the heritage of their ancestors.
