"Asalat al-Juthoor" is a program that explores the religious and spiritual heritage of the Druze Unitarian community, shedding light on the concepts, rituals, and traditions that have shaped a part of their religious identity, in an attempt to interpret the meaning underlying religious practice.
One of its episodes focuses on prayer among the Druze Unitarians, addressing its concept as a connection between the servant and the Worshipped, and the associated reverence, presence of heart, and consistency in worship. The episode also presents an explanation attributed to Al-Sayyid Al-Amir Abdullah Al-Tanukhi regarding the meanings of the pillars of prayer, where intention, glorification, reverence, and humility intertwine with the manifestation of God's presence. In doing so, the episode opens a space for reflection on prayer as a practice that transcends the performance of rituals, serving instead to refine the soul and strengthen the connection with God.
