Between banking, education, and entrepreneurship, the career of Marwan Salim Kheireddine intersects, having balanced money management, teaching, and investment throughout his years of work.
He began his studies in business administration and economics in Britain, and later obtained an MBA in New York; since 1992, his name has been associated with Al-Mawarid Bank, known today as AM Bank, and he took over the chairmanship of its board of directors in parallel with teaching finance at the American University of Beirut for nearly twenty years.
In 2000, Kheireddine was one of the parties to the agreement that brought Virgin Megastore to Lebanon before the opening of its first branch in Beirut in 2001. He was also associated with supporting investment in startups within the framework of Circular 331 of the Central Bank of Lebanon, in addition to holding the position of Minister of State between 2011 and 2014.
