What if reward and punishment were not Heaven and Hell in the physical sense, but rather a spiritual journey spanning more than one lifetime?

In a new episode of "Osoul Al-Juthoor," we pause to examine the concept of reward and punishment in Unitarian thought and its relationship to Divine Justice and the doctrine of reincarnation.

According to this perspective, Heaven and Hell are spiritual states; the former is linked to closeness to the Creator, knowledge, and tranquility, while the latter manifests as ignorance and distance from Him. Reincarnation, meanwhile, is not viewed as a punishment, but as a field of examination in which the soul bears the consequences of its actions and choices across different human lives and circumstances, leading up to the final reckoning.

Thus, reward and punishment in this concept become a journey that transcends the boundaries of a single life, during which the soul remains on a continuous path of testing and ascension until the time for reckoning and retribution arrives.
