In a new episode of the program "Our Grandparents' Tales," Uncle Abu Ismail Hamad Qutaish tells a story from the history of the Mountain that embodies the meanings of chivalry, loyalty, and keeping trust.

The story dates back to the nineteenth century, when the knight Hamad Al-Barbour recovered a caravan, money, and gold belonging to a Damascene merchant who was killed during a trade journey that Hamad was accompanying him on. He then decided to travel to Damascus, search for his family, and deliver the trust in full to the merchant's family, refusing any reward.

A story that reminds us that honesty is a principle, loyalty is a stance, and the virtues of our ancestors remain alive as long as we tell them to the generations.

"Our Grandparents' Tales".. stories from the memory of the Mountain, and values that time does not fold.
