In a new episode of the "Post and Critique" program, we pause at a simple post on social media that asks the question: "Tell me about something you are eagerly waiting for?" Only to discover behind the comments the story of an entire country, and wishes that have become like distant, unattainable dreams.
Between those who wish to travel in search of a better life, those waiting to return to their homes, and those who summarize their wishes with the word "salary," the details of daily life and the pressures and anticipation it carries become clear. On the other hand, simple personal wishes emerge, such as motherhood, relief, and beautiful compensation, to remind us that hope is still present despite everything.
The program does not critique the post itself, but rather reads between its words and comments, attempting to understand how social media platforms have turned into a space where people express their pains and postponed dreams, and how waiting has become a part of the details of their lives.
"Post and Critique".. because some posts do not just tell the story of their author, but reveal the story of an entire society.
