Dr. Rami Ezzeddine to "Kayan 24": Al-Irfan combines authenticity, development, and community service

In an interview via the "Kayan 24" platform, Dr. Rami Ezzeddine, advisor to the president of the Al-Irfan Tawhidiyah Foundation and Director of Public Relations, spoke about the foundation's journey since its establishment in 1971, its educational and social role, and the challenges it faces in light of rapid transformations.

Ezzeddine explained that Al-Irfan has evolved from a school meeting a local educational need into an integrated institution comprising five branches and nearly five thousand students, in addition to religious departments, health, cultural, and social services, as well as programs for women's empowerment and family support.

He pointed out that the foundation works to develop education by integrating academic and vocational paths, allowing students to acquire practical skills alongside academic achievement, emphasizing the importance of keeping pace with technology and artificial intelligence while maintaining identity and the Tawhidiyah (Unitarian) values and Druze heritage.

The interview addressed the challenges imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic and the economic crisis in Lebanon, highlighting the foundation's role in retaining its employees and ensuring the continuity of its educational, health, and social services through what he described as a "social safety net."

In concluding his speech, Ezzeddine emphasized that the message of Al-Irfan is embodied in the impact it leaves on its graduates, by instilling morals and values and fostering creativity and critical thinking, confirming that education is a mission that transcends the boundaries of classrooms to contribute to building the individual and serving society.
