Nada Abdel Samad is a Lebanese broadcaster, correspondent, and talk show host on BBC Arabic television and radio. She holds a PhD in Journalism from City University, London, obtained in 2007, and has been hosting the talk show “Dunyana” on BBC TV and radio since 2014.
Nada Abdel Samad, who belongs to the Unitarian Druze community, began her journey with the BBC as a correspondent from Beirut for the British station’s Arabic service in 1996. She later became the bureau chief for the station in Beirut, before fully dedicating herself to producing and presenting her television program on the BBC.
However, following the recent war in Gaza after October 7, 2023, Abdel Samad’s work at the BBC was suspended until further notice due to her positions.
