Photos have circulated on social media pages and accounts showing a procession of Bani Maarouf horsemen to the shrine of our master Prophet Shu'ayb (PBUH), ahead of the annual visit to the shrine.

The shrine of Prophet Shu'ayb is located in the Hittin area, overlooking the Sea of Galilee. The shrine has held immense importance in the lives of the Druze community for many years, and has evolved over time into a symbol and emblem for the Druze.

Prophet Shu'ayb (peace be upon him) holds sanctity among all sects and religions, and possesses an important historical status among historians and intellectuals. This high standing influences the Druze's attachment to him, his status, and his position, and their eagerness to visit the noble shrine.
