In 1941, the Prince of Eloquence, Shakib Arslan, visited Palestine and stayed as a guest of our late leader, Sheikh Amin Tarif, for a week.
During this visit, he went to the Shrine of Nabi Shu'ayb, where he made his famous statement: ”Just as the blessed Islamic nation has the right to be proud of the Holy Kaaba, and just as the revered Christian nation has the right to be proud of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Druze community has the right to be proud of this noble shrine.”
